The Bocce Ball is Heating Up At The Center!!!  

We have a new state of the art Bocce court that is very challenging to adjust my pinpoint accuracy!!   The Center has purchased new Bocce Balls and a new ramp for our wheelchair competitors!!  The Hardesty Sports Complex is the top complex of its kind in America!  I would invite you to take a tour of the activities and individuals of the Center!!   

The traveling squad has been chosen and I have been asked to be on the junior varsity squad which I am very familiar!!  if 5 or 6 Center varsity starters are all sick at the same time 
(food poisoning) I have a chance!!

FOS Bob Stoops Prediction Comes True!!

Ex-OU Coach Bob Stoops is taking the job as head Coach and GM of the Dallas pro football team!!  This was a prediction of mine in December!!  Bingo!!  I have dropped another mic!!

Jalen Will Be Perfect Fit For Sooner Nation!!

New OU starting QB Jalen Hurt is attending classes and learning the names of his new teammates while attending OU basketball games!!  Jalen dead lifted one thousand pounds and stopped the Sooner Schooner with one hand!!  He has been throwing passes with some of his new teammates and watch game film until midnight every day!!  Jalen knows where the OU Switzer library is!!  He knows where the OU Switzer Food Hall is!!  He will be the MAN Sooner Nation!!

FOS College Basketball Picks!

Baylor 69 at Kansas State 66

Baylor seems to be headed to an NCAA bid and in the running for the Big 12 crown!!  Looks like OSU and West Virginia will be the only 2 teams to not make the Big Dance out of the Big 12!!  Which only has 10 teams!!

Kansas 90 at OSU 73

The Jayhawks are trying to avoid a double-digit seed in the NCAA tourney for the first time since Thomas Edison went kite flying in a storm!  The Cowpokes are pretty ready to get this season behind them and bring in the Boone Twins from Memorial in Tulsa to resurrect their basketball program!!  The Boone Twins are not to be confused with the ’70s British band called the Thompson Twins!!

Oklahoma 81 Kansas 74

This victory may elevate OU to a higher seed in the NCAA or the NIT!?  Hell who knows!!  KU will be invited to the big dance but will have to add another travel jet for FBI, CIA, and NCAA investigators!!  Billy Self has lost some weight and his face color is much better when yelling at players or refs!!  His hair has not moved in forty years!!  Plus some folks in Lawrence say they have never seen him at a barber shop!!  True story, I promise!!

Texas 73 Iowa State 68

The Cyclones had more turnovers the the Pillsbury dough dude!!  Texas coach Smarty is not known for his defensive coaching but the 1-3-1 halfcourt suffocating defense worked against the clones!!  

ORU 79 Omaha 67

ORU defeats the Omaha Royals and prays after the game for the Omaha team and a safe trip home, after 3 of there basketball players had bed bugs staying at a hotel unnamed!!. 

Arkansas 77 Ole Miss 65

The Razorbacks seem to play well against good competition and average against average competition!!  They play poorly against poor competition!!  They really need to play excellent against all competition in the SEC Tournament to make the big dance!!

Tulsa 88 East Carolina 73

CIT Tournament scouts were scene eating at Talley’s after the game!!  How exciting.  I am stoked.

The Birds have a plethora of young third basemen in spring camp this year!!  Nineteen-year-old Nolan Gorman will get a short look and is destined for high A ball but is power hitting stud in the making!!  Malcolm Nunez a twenty-year-old third baseman won the Dominican League Triple Crown last summer!!!  He has been in the Cardinal camp working with Jose Oquendo since the first of February!!  Eleheus Montero is another twenty-year-old who hit 15 home runs and had 69 RBIs in low A Peoria!!  Matt Carpenter is officially on notice for 2021!

Cubs

The Cubs had some abrasive words for their arch enemy Cardinals!!  Anthony Rizzo and Krissy Bryant seem to talk smack to the Red Birds when they are fifteen hundred miles away!!  Krissy Bryant stated that St. Louis is a very boring place!!  Has he ever been in the Gateway Arch when an elevator gets stuck on the way up?  Has he been to Grants Farm and stepped into Clydesdale poop??  Has he had 10 sliders at the original White Castle??  Has Krissy been to East St Louis when taking a wrong turn after a late night Cardinal game!!  I rest my case of Busch beer!!

Astros

The Astros signed free agent C Robinson Chirinros and OF Michael Brantley.  Attempts continue to sign Dallas Kuechel but the Astros and the rest of MLB seem to be stubborn!!

Royals

Royals have close to the same starting rotation and the bullpen has added lefty Travis Wood!  I would project a 71-91, 2019 record.

Stoops will be a secret double agent for OU and the good thing he doesn't even know it!!  He will yell and scream till his face turns as red as a beet!!  The ’Bama way will be revealed from Mike at the Stoops Family Thanksgiving!!  Pass me the gravy, Mike, as well at that Alabama defensive playbook by the mashed potatoes!!

Disco Memories!

I was once told at a local disco, forty some odd years ago, that my behind was so big that I could butt dial someone long distance!!  Those ole disco days were so much fun!!

New Party Food for Millenials and Cannibals

Super Bowl, NCAA Tournaments and Tailgate parties will never be the same again with the new Cannibal Sandwich!!  Raw and lean hamburger meat served with onions on rye!!  Skinny jean millennials have found their sandwiches to be seen with!!  2019 tailgate parties will never be the same at OU, TU and OSU as raw hamburger, squirrel and beaver sandwiches will be the new food for young skinny jean fans in Oklahoma!!

Young Farts Riot for Travis Scott Concert Cancellation in Tulsa!

My son and his home skillets were very upset that Travis Scott partied too much at the the Super Bowl and the Enemies to make the little ole Concert in Tulsa at the BOK Center!!  Young farts please do not ruin and trash out our BOK Center before our NCAA Basketball tournament arrives!!

TCU 85 Iowa State 80

The Horny Frogs pom squad was under 

investigation for using spongy substance in their shoes for extra spring in their stunt competition!!  The Iowa State Pom squad also made the Souix City Gazette by fighting at a drinking establishment in Souix City!!  The game was exciting but both Pom Squad were not in attendance!!

Kansas State 77 Okla. State 63

OSU needs players but a dude named Andrew Steinberg is not the best pick or the best light bulb at Home Depot!!  He did make fifty free throws in a row but dribbling a basketball while walking or even running is out of the question!!

Texas Tech 79 Kansas 72

Jayhawks have gone from a 1 seed to a 5 seed since loosing there big man Azubuike to a knee injury!!  The 5 Star and McDonald All-Americans that Coach Billy gets every year are staying far, far away from the Addidus scandal!!   

Oklahoma 77 Texas 69

Matthew McConahay wore his burnt orange three piece corduroy suit and showed the team some trick pools shots before the game!!  He received phone numbers from all the OU cheer leaders, male and female!!  Oklahoma is led by their freshman point guard Bienemy who has 2 turnovers in his last 7 games!!  

Western Illinois 84 ORU 78

Western Illinois and ORU play a nice game that no one saw!  If a huge Sycamore tree fall in the forest and no one was around for miles would it make a sound!!  Thus could you use the same adage for this game!

Arkansas 79 Texas A&M 78

Razorback Coach Anderson has his team trapping, swarming and aggressively defending every shot!!  Fayetteville is a tough place to play, and they pulled out a one-point victory!!  Not a good year for the Aggies!!  Texas A&M officials are hovering over Kelvin Sampson at Houston with a large bag of cash close to 5 years and 20 million dollars!!

Temple 71 Tulsa 61

If your from Tulsa and playing sports in a conference that has a team in Philadelphia you should get extra credit in your core classes for elongated travel time!!

Cardinals-  Early pick for first in the NL Central with the acquisition of slugger, first basemen Paul Goldschmidt from Arizona and lefty reliever Andrew Miller from the Cleveland Indians!  Starting pitcher Michael Wacha will be up for a new contract at the end of 2019, but his injury problems throughout his career have placed the Redbirds in no hurry to start negotiations!!

Cubs- Cubbies are shaking in their booties so much that they had to make negative comments about the greatness of the Cardinals!!  Cubs only transaction this offseason was a new steroid machine in the locker room!!

Royals-  The Royals should be competitive this year in the Pacific Coast League!!  Their roster has local stud Bryan Flynn from Owasso!!  After him I can only remember Freddie Pateck!!

Astros-  The ’Stros are my pick to win the World Series IF they resign Dallas Keichel!  The starting pitching staff is very solid!!  More in-depth analysis to come!

Am I the only person that believes that hiring and paying someone to move another high paid coach away from the field or away from an official so that they will not get a penalty or injured is pretty stupid!!!  Is there a class that teaches this pullback technique?!  Does the pullback dude help the coach in the restroom??  Does the pullback dude help the Rams McVay in the bedroom?  Does the pullback dude for Clemson’s spastic coach Venables get tipped by Venables when he goes beyond his pullback duty!?  You can define pullback duty as you may, but you get the point!!  If I wanted drama I would attend a local private school at lunchtime!!  If I see more animated pullback dudes on the sidelines of high school games or even TU games I will have my 23rd stroke!!  

Redbirds New Hitting Instructor is a Hit!

The St. Louis Cardinals have again jacked something away from the Houston Astros!!!  This time it was not espionage and was simply the hiring of the new Cardinal hitting coach, Jeff Albert from the ’Stros!!  His semi-free swinging emphasis will give the Redbird hitters more freedom and fewer restrictions with their own techniques!!

Is the Heat On Tulsa Basketball??

The Tulsa Basketball fans are becoming very restless!!  The muckety mucks at TU are not getting their ROI (return on investment) with Coach Haith!!  Pooh (Willamson) and Tubby(Smitn) sound like a couple of cartoon characters but would be a huge boost to Hurricane fan base!!!  I would throw Shea Seals, Rod Thompson and Lee Mayberry in the mix as well!!  Plus Bryce Thompson would love to play for father Rod!!   Trey Phipps has already signed with TU!!  Correct, come on TU come on!

Kansas State 72  Iowa State 71

I checked the actual birth certificate of Dean Wade and although it seems like he has been at KSU for a decade, it is only 25 years old!!  K State and Wade came back from fifteen points down in the final ten minutes to send the Cyclones to a moth conference loss!  Both teams should be solidly in the dance!!

Texas 78  OSU 69

The Cowboys and the Longhorns had a huge basketball fight at the OK Corral in Austin, Texas!!  The OSU basketball team landed a super walk-on after tryouts a couple of weeks ago!!  Former OSU star Bryant ’Big Country’ Reeves’ son Bryson ’Huge Country’ Reeves made the squad and has busted 5 basketball rims!!  Bryson is 7’2” tall and weighs 420 lbs!!  In the Texas games, he was called for a flagrant foul when he sneezed and his defender went hard to the floor!!  

TCU 72  Oklahoma 65

The Sooner coach Lon Keuger was given his first technical foul since he was playing in short shorts for Kansas State!!   Lon asked an official who made a questionable call if he needed to use his reading glasses to read his book, because he was definitely not watching this game!!  The Horny Frogs NCAA tourney look great and a big win over the Sooners helped move their seeding up!!  

Kansas 88 West Virginia 72

Kansas superstar Dedrick Lawson who looks like the first pick in the NBA draft, dropped 25 points on the Mountaineers who seem to be spiraling to an invitation to the CIT tournament!!   West Virginia’s claim to fame this year is that they played Tennessee close for a half!!  The Kansas big donor and faculty seating had to be reupholstered due to a skunk family escaping into their section!!!  The new faux leather was not acceptable to some of the faculty!! True story!!  

North Dakota 77 ORU 70

ORU travels to the frozen tundra to lose to the Fighting Hawks of North Dakota!  ORU’s four freshmen starters were so cold that they were allowed to play with their uniforms over their Nike long johns!!

The NIT tournament is starting to look golden for the Hogs!!

Tulsa 70  East Carolina 58

The ’Cane need to win a 2 Conference Tourney games to have a chance at the NIT!!  The team seems to check out on the road which is a mental toughness problem according to FOS writers!!  East Carolina beat Cincinnati by 1 point at home!!  Then played the Greenville, NC, YMCA thirty and over team and lost by 5!!  Good win for the ’Cane!!

Kentucky 81  Tennessee 78

Huge game between two top 5 teams!  Kentucky has Blue blood and Tennessee does not!!  Tennessee Coach Rick Barnes who was chased out of Texas for Shaka not so Smart, is really a good coach!!  One of these two schools will be a 1 seed and one will be a 2 seed!!  What do you think?

Recommendation to OSSAA for Private Schools in Tulsa Area Move to 6A2?!?!

The OSSAA has a request to move private schools, including Bishop Kelley, Lincoln Christian, Metro Christian, Cascia Hall, and Holland Hall to 6A2!!  Seems like some mucketty muck parents in middle ranks of high school football are complaining about the private schools having an advantage!!  So let's take private schools with 200 students and play Bixby with 1700 students!!  Oh, that's reeeeeeaaaaal fair, so just let it go, parents!  Whatever happened to a bunch of kids getting a football and going to the park and playing tackle or flag?  Forty-five years ago that is exactly how we organized football games!!!  Playing at the park with minimal parent involvement!!  I'm done, gonna take a Tylenol!!

Cowboy Owner Jerry Jones stated that Coach Jason Garrett is a Hot Commodity!!

Jerry Jones is the only person in North America that thinks that Jason Garrett is a good football coach!!  He is boring and is like Howdy Doody, a puppet for Jerry Jones and his minny me son to play with!!  So 2020 will be a big year for Trumpy for Prez and Lincoln Riley for Dallas Coach!!   Lincoln and Trumpy 2020!!

Texas QB Steve Buechele Among others are Hitting the Lonesome Trail to other Colleges!!

I was checking my College Football Portal today and noticed that 3 Texas QBs were transferring!!  Shane Buechele would be perfect for Oklahoma State!!  He is similar to a young Gundy!!  Why so many leaving the house the Mac Brown built!!

These two teams have more speed and athleticism than the Lakers, with Lebron, Magic, Kobe, Jabbar, and Shaq!!  TCU coach, Jamie Dixon when excited, can remind folks of the nutty scientist on Back to the Future movies!!  In the ’Clone game he received a technical foul when complaining that his coaching staff did not have enough seats and were forced to sit in each others lap!!  The head ref did not like Coach Skunky hair’s sarcasm!!

Kansas State 70 Texas 67

Wildcats are playing really well since      

Power Forward Dean Wade came back from injury!!  K State defense gave the Longhorns fits in the second half!!  The Big 12 basketball teams are doing what their counterparts could not do in Big 12 football......PLAY DEFENSE!!!!  

Kansas 88  Oklahoma State 72

Cowboys Coach Boynton, who a few days ago had try-outs for his team with the student body should be Big-12 coach of the year!!  Forty-eight kids tried out for the team!!  In layup drills the backboard fell off twice and had to be replaced but no one was injured!!  He released 4 scholarship players for not following the student-athlete code of conduct at OSU!!  I love Coach Boynton!!

Oklahoma 71 Texas Tech 66

The Sooners needed a big win against the highly ranked Red Raiders and they delivered!!  With Kansas playing like a normal top ten team and Coach Self’s team uncharacteristically vulnerable, Tech, K State, and others are sniffing the Big 12 title!!

Arkansas 74 South Carolina 66

The Razorbacks are sniffing post season!!  By defeating the Gamecocks they are feeling good about the NCAA tournament but an early loss in the conference tourney will have the NIT at their doorstep!!

Tulsa 65 Temple 61

Tulsa is basically fighting for a higher seed in the postseason AAC postseason tournament.  TU needs to lean on senior leadership in the upcoming games which has been inconsistent at best!!  Senior Point Guard Sterling Taplin’s game has been disappointing so far. Coach Haith is not on the hot seat yet but the seat could be adjusted to a crock pot warm, if there is no postseason tourney for the ’Cane!  A nice home win over Temple but a nice road win is still not on the TU resume!!

Never blame the 2-year-old granddaughter for breaking wind!!  The payoff comes right back at you when she fills a dirty diaper right after green beans and Papa has diaper duty!!
