๐ŸฅŽTulsa appears set to make a major hire for its softball program๐ŸฅŽ๐ŸฅŽ๐ŸฅŽ๐ŸฅŽ๐ŸฅŽ๐ŸฅŽ๐ŸฅŽ๐ŸฅŽnice emojis B in T ‼️Thanks Kelly S. — LXA‼️

According to multiple reports, including D1 Softball, and B in T TU Softball Illustrated — DJ Gasso is expected to become the next head coach of Tulsa softball‼️‼️ Gasso is the son of legendary Oklahoma softball coach Patty Gasso and has spent the last three seasons as Arkansas’ hitting coach. During his time with the Razorbacks, Arkansas emerged as one of the nation’s top programs, advancing to the Women’s College World Series this season‼️‼️Before joining Arkansas, Gasso spent several years on Oklahoma’s staff, helping the Sooners win multiple national๐Ÿฅฒchampionships๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅ‡๐Ÿฅ‡

If finalized, the hire would bring one of the sport’s most recognizable names to Tulsa as the Golden Hurricane looks to build on its softball program’s success‼️ Tulsa has not officially announced the hire, thus this is surely a new hire‼️  Hehehe‼️

Patty Gasso's statue unveiled — A legend in Norman is still coaching‼️ Now her son will make Tulsa another power house in Oklahoma‼️

Cardinals

My Birds are battling to the end of a .500 season but the farm system has improved drastically with the new GM Chaim Bloom! (great name brah!) The dude put in charge of making the Cardinals yearly World Series contenders again, NO PRESSURE‼️ He gave few specifics about what the makeup of the 2026 team will look like in his introductory news conference, but he did vow that there will be no short-term sacrifices made that might impact the long-term goal of returning the club to the top of baseball‼️ In other words, trim the fat!

The new GM is a winner, gents‼️

Cubs

Craig Counsell on hot seat?

Following a 10-game skid, fans and analysts are fiercely debating if manager Craig Counsell should be fired‼️

images_8.jpeg

Also Note:

Boston Red Sox: Fired Alex Cora at 10-17 -> 12-13 since

Philadelphia Phillies: Fired Rob Thompson at 9-19 -> 18-8 since

Should they pull the plug on Counsell if this team goes under .500? The pitching has been decimated with injuries, but this team just looks dead. It feels like a spark in the clubhouse could be needed, someone at the top with a new perspective of how to steer the ship! Cubby June Swoon is happening!

Royals

Bobby Witt Jr. is dominating defensively, making incredible high-IQ plays and earning MVP buzz online‼️‼️.

Dodgers

Shohei Ohtani delivered an unworldly two-way performance, pitching six shutout innings and reaching base five times!! Against the Red Sox‼️‼️

Brewers

The Brewers are blowing away everyone in the NL Central‼️ A year later, look what Kyle Harrison with a new and improved Harrison has become, going 9-9 with a 4.39 ERA over parts of three seasons with the Giants and Red Sox, bouncing between starter and reliever, he’s 7-1 with a 1.57 ERA through his first 11 starts with the Brewers, including the 5 2/3 innings he delivered Tuesday against the team that drafted him and brought him to the big leagues!!
