A couple of my frat bros once asked me in a giggling manner, B in T when is your NIL (Name/Image/Likeness) money kicking in??  Well  already has, thanks to my generous, fraternity brothers, relatives and friends!  NIL is a back handed way of  describing funding that you and many others did to help send us to Boccia Nationals for six days in beautiful Council Bluffs, Iowa!!  AND 6 days in 2025 Nationals in Birmingham, Alabama‼️

Now again this year with support of Grants, friends, family and LCA fraternity bros we are headed to Council Bluffs!!

Again on July 29th, 2026 we load the bus with the wild Boccia crew‼️

B in T Somewhat Funny Notes:

Image.heic

⚾️Riley O’Brien worked around a Matt Olson double in the ninth Tuesday night in Atlanta, protecting a two-run lead and locking down his 28th save of the season!

It was not spotless, but it was scoreless — and that is usually the job description.

O’Brien has now converted all seven of his save chances in June, and his 28 saves are tied for the National League lead with Mason Miller and Jhoan Duran!

Season line:

3.71 ERA

1.20 WHIP

45k

14 BB

45 IP

It may not always be easy on the blood pressure, but O’Brien keeps getting the final three outs‼️

All-Star 2026!

Cardinals

Before the Cardinals?

A timeline of the team's historical iterations includes:

  • 1882–1898: St. Louis Brown Stockings
Founded in 1882, the franchise originally played in the American Association before moving to the National League in 1892. Baseball historians point to this 1892 milestone as the official beginning of the franchise's modern MLB existence.

images_8.jpeg

  • 1899 Stl Perfectos
After the previous owner faced financial trouble and a devastating fire at their ballpark, new owners Frank and Stanley Robison took over the team in 1899. They moved the roster from the Cleveland Spiders (whom they also owned) to St. Louis, and subsequently rebranded the team as the "Perfectos!”They also changed the team's primary color to a prominent red.

  • 1900–Present: St. Louis Cardinals
During the 1899 season, a local sportswriter, Willie McHale, overheard a woman in the stands compliment the team's new uniforms by saying, "What a lovely shade of cardinal". McHale began using the nickname in his newspaper columns because it fit perfectly into headlines, and the name officially stuck as the "Cardinals" in 1900‼️

GREAT HISTORY, NOW IF THEY COULD FIRE OLI IN THE NEXT 5 MINUTES, LET'S COMPLETE THE TRANSITION TO A NEW REGIME IN CARDINAL HISTORY‼️Hahahaha

Cubs

Before the Cubs?

The Cubs started in 1876 as the Chicago White Stockings and were also named the Colts (1890-1897) and Orphans (1898-1902) before becoming the Cubs in 1903! They also had an alleged curse hanging over their heads for more than 70 years. The start of the curse came during the 1945 World Series when, during Game 4, Billy Goat Tavern owner William Sianis put a curse on the Cubs after he and his pet goat were forced to leave Wrigley Field!True shat‼️ The Cubs lost the 1945 World Series and didn’t play in another World Series until they won it all in 2016!

avlt31mfemmsercfdscn.jpg

In total, the Cubs have won 17 National League pennants. They competed in the National League’s East Division from 1969 to 1993 before joining the Central Division in 1994, where they’ve stayed since!‼️

Royals

Before the Royals?

1968 The Athletics left Kansas City for Oakland after the 1967 season. Major League Baseball, looking to expand to 24 teams, grants Kansas City one of its four expansion teams which would begin play in 1969. The team, which is owned by Ewing M. Kauffman, would be named the Royals‼️

1969 Playing their very first game in old Municipal Stadium, the Royals rally from a 3-1 deficit to win in extra innings against the eventual Western Division Champion Minnesota Twins. The club finished with a 69-93 record in its initial season. The mark was the best of the four expansion teams debuting in 1969. A young and fiery outfielder named Lou Piniella was selected as the Rookie of the Year‼️

Dodgers

Before the Codgers?

Brooklyn Atlantics

In 1884, it became a member of the American Association as the Brooklyn Atlantics before joining the National League in 1890. They remained in Brooklyn, New York, until 1957, after which the team moved to Los Angeles, where it continues its history as the Los Angeles Dodgers‼️

images_11.jpeg

Brewers

Before the Brewers?

Before the Milwaukee Braves took the field in 1970, Milwaukee's major league baseball history was primarily anchored by the Milwaukee Braves(1953–1965). Prior to the Braves' arrival from Boston, the city was passionately represented by various minor-league teams—also historically nicknamed the Brewers—playing in the American Association‼️
