Former Tulsa Edison RB Sevion Morrison ran for 102 yards on 18 carries with 1 TD!
The Commons Tailgate area was amazing! This year’s entertainment was a double header of a local band called the Stinky Ear Wax and the second part of the doubleheader was a mud wrestling match of 20 Kappa Sigma frat dudes against 20 Delta Gamma sorority girls! The Kappa Siggies tapped out when 14 of the young Mechanical Engineer majors were pinned in the mud by the more athletic sorority girls‼️

Going for eighth straight title will not be easy, but quarterback Carson Kirby (5-11, 180, 6th year senior) will certainly help ease some of the pressure. Kirby has shown he has what it takes to lead the best football program in Oklahoma. Kirby is not expected to do it alone. Players like Jayson Moll (5-8, 170, Sr.) will shoulder the load as well. Moll will see time at running back and wide receiver giving the Spartans a legit threat at both positions. Also look for underclassman Brian Jones (5-10, 170, So.) in the run game. Jones is an excellent change of pace back who will surprise you with his toughness and elusiveness on the field. Another underclassman to watch is tight end Connor Arant (6-6, 225, So.). Arant will also see time on defense, but this young player is showing he could be a next-level type player!! Another Pressley, Braeaeden, a 6’2” 195lb safety will anchor the Ram D and next year will play defense for your Oklahoma State Cowboys‼️

My Rangers have more talent and organization than they had the previous 10 years combined! New coach Jesse Jones is da man‼️Jones comes to Hale from Tulsa Union, where he served three seasons as the team's offensive line coach and running game coordinator. He succeeds Isaiah Irvin, who resigned in November after five seasons with the Rangers. Jones is a former All-District defensive lineman at Tulsa McLain and later was a first-team All-Conference USA offensive lineman in 2005 at the University of Tulsa. After graduating from TU, Jones started his coaching career at Booker T. Washington. He later joined the staff at Jenks before taking the job at Union prior to the 2022 season. His son, Jesse, Jr., is graduating from Union in May and was just selected as an All-State offensive lineman by the Oklahoma Coaches Association!
