Although our celebration was moved back a few days, this was a trip to remember!! First of all thank Jesus, in July the wheat fields will have been cut and fireworks in the wheat fields should cause minimal damage to the wheat!! Cousin Jason and his awesome wife Amy will be smoking bologna, cow tongue, calf balls, pork ribs, pork loin, and his specialty I35 roadkill!!! The B in T family loves ❤️ this event and we will be celebrating the 4th of July and making a toast to my brother Mike who is getting ready for OSU football season up in heaven, we miss you so much when we gather for events like this!! Jami and I will have a Bud Light for you Mike, and remember the fun, agony, and laughs we all had together!! We will light some small fireworks for the younger grandkids and prepare them for future Fireworks at the Farm!!

Love this Omaha, Nebraska bar!
During the 2022 College Baseball World Series, I followed the Sooners and was amazed at how much fun the city of Omaha makes the great eight of College Baseball! Sooner flagship station KREF superstar Toby Roland does the play-by-play and is tremendous!! Rumors have him taking a Cincinnati Red’s play-by-play gig soon!! Toby will be missed but, word is, may take hot-shot producer TJ Perry with him! This would be a drastic blow to Sooner Nation if they lost TJ!! The Sooner radio team visited Rocco’s bar frequently and accounted for 400 of 460 jello shots from Oklahoma!! I will recommend this to my neighborhood bar ‘Shot Happens’!!!

The Ranger’s pitching does not scare folks but is really top-notch compared to the anemic hitting!! On the bright side they were 13 games under .500 this time last year!!

Altuve is currently batting 40 points less than his career .304 average!! Mighty Mouse is human after all!! My Houston family of Astro crazies has Mighty Mouse Altuve pillows all over their guest room!!! Go Stros!!

The Cubs are only 10 games out of a wild card spot with 80 games to go!! Cub Nation is lighting enough fireworks downtown this 4th to rekindle the days of Leon Durham and Ryno Sandburg!!

The Sox muckity muck ownership seems to be pressuring President of Operations, Tony LaRussa to fire manager Tony LaRussa by the All-Star break!! They seem to be at an impasse with both parties looking at a stalemate!! I put my money on Tony coaching until he is 90!
