Dennis Conner will never know it, but he touched my mother’s life while Yachting and winning America’s Cup!! Mr. Conner's sweater used in the winning Americas Cup in 1974 was given to great grandma B in T Katy by the Yacht Club out of San Diego!! This was worn by Katy for a few years and later was mysteriously found in B in T's closet at the Tulsa Lambda house!! At 300 plus pounds B in T had to REALLY stretch out the sweater to dance at the Luau or the Sewer Parties!! It was very hard to disco dance with a tight-knit sweater in Tulsa's 90-degree weather in September heat!! Actually, the frat guys would take their shirts off in the Tulsa heat and humidity as demonstrated below!!

Actor Ethan Hawk was in Tulsa for the last few weeks with the director Sterlin Harjo of Reservoir Dogs which, in it's third season, is filmed in the Oklahoma area!! Where’s Waldo was Ethan Hawke, he was at Phillbrook, Queenies at Uuuuuuutica Square, Kai, Vietnamese Cuisine, Talley’s on Route 66, and of course Big Daddies BBQ!! If you put a striped red and white hat and black framed glasses on Mr. Hawke u might have a Walso Movie!! Where will Ethan be seen this week??

*Texas was in 5 of the top 50 games in 2023! Why? Wow and OU/Texas was 11th! Sick!
*Oklahoma only had 1 (OU/Texas) game in the top 50! Obviously, Oklahoma’s power schedule (sarcasm to the max) was no help!
*Oklahoma vs Tulsa was not in the Top 50, but might be understandable with another down year expected in Norman!!! Tulsa will be an unknown with the first-year coach Kevin Wilson!! OU paid 2.5 million for a 6-7 Brent Venables and TU spent 750k plus free clothes from Ed Beshara's fine formal wear for coach Wilson!!
*Only one Colorado Prime Time Buffalos game against TCU!??The early Vegas line is the Horny Frogs by 50 and 1/2 points!!
*Arkansas- only one game in the top 50 at 49, vs Mizzou?? Yep, makes sense, I would rather be noodling as well!

I would like to give a special thanks to Mrs. B in T’s bestie Brenda who let us stay with her and watch a Flycatcher game against the Dodge City Crackdealers! Two players from the 6-15 Flycatcher team are staying at Brenda’s bed and breakfast and we had the opportunity to stay in a room right next to them!! Brenda has no curfew for the young men which is why they have a last place record!!
Cardinals
The Cards went on a three-game winning streak,
then lost 10 in a row, and still sold out the Friday and Saturday night games with the Cubs!! Both nights had Cardinal\Cubs Frisbies handed out to the first 50,000 fans to enter the Stadium! The game was delayed due to Frisbies on the Busch grass 17 times and neither contest finished by 3 am in the morning!!
Cubs
On a recent trip to London the Cubbies split 2 games with the mighty Cards!! A waste of money! New Cub Cody Belanger and veteran Kyle Hendricks were kicked off a Concord 900 Superjet ride according to TMZ Sports!! Evidently, the two of them drank a record 243 mini bar bottles to set the Concord New York to London record!!
