I have been rooting for the Cowboys since they were on channel 6 KOTV in the late 60s!! Well, I am tired of the losing, and the meddling owner with 11 facelifts and 0 Super Bowl appearances in 15 years or so!! Now we have Quarterback Prescott, who wants 49 million a year for accomplishing shat, with more shatting talent than most NFL teams!! So, to my friends and mentors, Colin Magruder, Chris Taylor, and the thousands of other Chief fans I am requesting a ticket to get on the Chief bandwagon immediately!! FOS Bobbleheads:
Memory Lane with my own Bobblehead, Jordan! In 1991 (Freedom Bowl winners TU) I took my 5-year-old daughter to her first football game -TU vs Southern Miss at Skelly Stadium on a nice slightly overcast fall day! A huge cold front with snow, missed by all 3 weather stations, hit in the fourth quarter!! The crowd including Jordan and I started leaving and did not wanting to stay for a 10 to 10 tie!! As we were just out of the stadium the crowd screamed as Chris Penn caught Hail Mary pass!! We turned around and headed back in and watch TU kick a field goal......and MISS!! But the Skelly snow-covered field had some yellow on it and it was not yellow snow!! There were too many Southern Miss men on the field, this another shot at a 28-yard field goal!! The kick was good, and although I was lectured by my wife for not having gloves for Jordan, it was a afternoon to remember!! And TU won!
